Worship Expectations
Each church is different, so here are some of the things we think you can expect if you worship at Holy Cross.
(Worship begins at 10:00 A.M. unless otherwise noted.)
How do I know what to do?
We know attending worship can be a bit stressful if you don't know what to expect, or what to do.

All of the worship texts are projected so you can participate without having to open a book or know where we are in the book.

Any instrucitons (like standing, or sitting) are also projected so you can easily join in.

The texts for the congregation to speak or sing are presented on-screen in bolded typeface.

The texts for the presiders are presented on-screen in regular typeface.

Communion
Please join in today's celebration of Communion.

Communion is distributed in bread and wine.

An usher will indicate when it is your time to come forward to receive Communion.

The bread will be placed in your hand.
--
Please consume the wine by drinking directly from the chalice.
--
If you're not comfortable drinking from the chalice, it is OK to receive only the bread.
Offerings / Donations
An offering will be collected during worship.

No one is required to make an offering when they are in worship.

If you wish to support the work done through this community, please place your offering in the plate prior to entering the worship space.

Electronic offerings/donations can be made in the narthex. If you have any questions, please ask for assistance.

Masks
The wearing of masks is strongly recommended during worship. (We want to keep people as safe as possible.)

A limited supply of masks are available on the counter in the narthex.

Mobile Devices
Please silence your mobile device before worship begins

Recordings
All the worship offered is video and audio recorded and will be posted to YouTube at a later date.
